On September 4th, at the largest defence event in Poland, the 32nd International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce, a new contract was signed for the supply of FlyEye unmanned aerial systems. Recognized as the most advanced UAS in its class, the FlyEye has demonstrated its effectiveness in the most challenging conditions of high-intensity conflict.
The contract between the State Treasury – Armament Agency and WB GROUP, involves the delivery of additional FlyEye Unmanned Aerial Systems to the Polish Armed Forces. These systems, in their latest versions, will be delivered by the end of 2026. Enhancements to the FlyEye 3.6 include upgrades to navigation systems, improved security features, and integration with the TOPAZ integrated combat management system.
This new contract marks the second contract under the framework agreement for the supply of four hundred FlyEye systems, which was signed on September 5th, 2023, during the 31st International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce. The first contract under this framework was signed on April 19th, 2024. Previously, FlyEye’s were acquired based on other agreements made in previous years.
The FlyEye Unmanned Aerial System is designed for aerial reconnaissance using optoelectronic payloads equipped with cameras that capture both daylight and thermal images. The FlyEye has proven its value in the Polish Army, supporting both Operational Forces and Territorial Defence Forces, as well as participating in various military operations.
